MULTICULTURAL ARTS VICTORIA (MAV) is proud to launch the seventh edition of their annual compilation album Visible, the product of the Visible Mentoring Program, featuring the sounds of a proudly multicultural Melbourne. From Ethio-Jazz to Cape Verdean reggae the album features 15 tracks in total,recreating the golden age of 1960's Ethiopian funk and soul, while revisiting ancient Tibetan folklore and adding a contemporary spin with a new sound of South Sudanese Dinka Hip Hop. With talented producers Nicky Bomba, Jason Heerah (Electric Empire), Bob Knob (HopeSteet Studios), Ivan "Choi" Khatchoyan (Cookin'on Three Burners, True Live & Candice Monique and the Optics), Wayne "Lotek" Bennett and Ptero_Stylus (Diafrix) lending their skills, the album encompasses the essence of Melbourne's unique musical demographic that represents sounds,styles and rhythms from all around the globe.
