Rock Royalty since 1988, Deftones are releasing their 7th studio album Koi No Yokan.

Deftones have unleashed ‘Tempest’ as their first single off the new album.

Nick Raskulinecz returned to produce their newest album, he has worked on Trivium, Alice In Chains, Stone Sour, Marilyn Manson and Evanescence.

Tempest has been described as ‘an alternately brooding and furious grinder that takes it’s lyrical clues from doomsday theory.’

Tempest is purely and undoubtedly Deftones, this first single maintains the fact that no other band sounds like Deftones. There is a constant balance between beauty and aggression in ‘Tempest,’ lending a slightly schizophrenic feel to the song.
