Best known for her role in punk rock mainstay Sleater-Kinney, Tucker also played in the influential early 90's rock group Heavens to Betsy. Recently she has appeared along side Sleater Kinney band mate Carrie Brownstein in the cult comedy Portlandia. She returns with to music with her own band with a new album on Kill Rock Stars. 'Kill My Blues' finds Tucker returning to her riot grrrl sonic roots along with band members Seth Lorinczi (Golden Bears), Sara Lund (Unwound) and Mike Clark (Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks) to produce a solid album of fuzzy alternative rock.
