To Die For is a highly stylised and edgy thriller from the director of Good Will Hunting and Milk, with a memorable Golden Globe award winning performance from star Nicole Kidman. Fifteen minutes of fame was never going to be enough for Suzanne (Nicole Kidman). Married to local restaurant owner Larry (Matt Dillon), all she ever wanted was to be a high-flying anchorwoman on network TV. Blessed with more determination than ability, Suzanne plans her way to the top and will do absolutely anything to achieve her goals. As her ambition increases, her grip on reality starts to slide and she seduces young junkie Jimmy (Joaquin Phoenix), until he is obsessed enough with her to do whatever she wants.
