Simon Pegg, is Dennis, a man on the runfrom the altar. He's bolted, leaving his pregnant fiance (Thandie Newton) crying at the chapel and everyone else baying for his blood. Now five years later, dead-end Dennis wants to make up for lost time and prove he's the marrying kind and a good dad to his devoted son. Out of shape, out of time and out of options, Dennis has to contend with his ex's smarmy new boyfriend (Hank Azaria) as well as a marathon to run.
