Orphan Jay (Jay Chou - The Green Hornet) was born into Kung Fu. Left on the doorstep of a famed martial arts school as a baby, he is trained in the ways of the ancient art. Jay becomes a bonafide Kung Fu master but still shoulders the agonising mystery of his past and his family every day. So when a small-time crook, Wang (Eric Tsang) offers to help find his parents in exchange for Jay playing college basketball, Jay leaps at the chance. What he finds at university is a world away from his previously simple life: a drunk team captain, vicious rivals, cheating referees and behind the scenes manipulation all stand in the way of Jay and his dreams. Can he prove that Kung Fu is for dunking?
