Out of the melting pot that is the Australian hip hop scene True Vibenation emerges as a young group with undeniable musical talent. With a take on the genre that embraces afro-beat, pop and dubstep but is still grounded in the uplifting elements of old school hip hop their music has a wide appeal, yet is still uniquely Australian. Their debut album ‘The Sunshower Phenomenon’ combines heartfelt, intelligent vocals from twins Verbaleyes and Native Wit with rich, textured beats and skilled scratches from DJ Gabriel Clouston, with each member of the trio not only sharing production duties but also playing horns.
