Making his name with the leftfield hip hop collective ANTICON in the late '90s, BRYAN HOLLON (AKA BOOM BIP) soon went to remix the likes of M83, FOUR TET, MOGWAI. Then in 2008 he formed the future pop due NEON NEON with Gruff Rhys. Their 'Stainless Style' album was rewarded with a Mercury-nomination. Marrying post-rock with synthetic sounds, 'Zig Zaj' displays Boom Bip's impressive range and continuing evolution as a producer. A sterling supporting cast of vocalists contribute to his instrumental soundscapes with Mike Noyce of BON IVER's band, FRANZ FERDINAND's ALEX KAPRANOS, Neon Neon cohort CATE LE BON, BEASTIE BOYS collaborator MONEY MARK and SLEEPY JACKSON / EMPIRE OF THE SUN front man LUKE STEELE all making appearances.
