Malfunkshun was a band formed in 1980 by Andrew Wood and his brother Kevin Wood. Along with Skin Yard, Green River, U-Men, Melvins and Soundgarden, Malfunkshun are considered the "godfathers" of grunge. Andrew Wood passed away in March 1990, unaware his legacy looms as large as his contribution to bringing the grunge revolution to the mainstream.
