Since 2004, Hugh has played Dr. Gregory House in the hugely successful ‘House MD’ drama series (Network 10 & Fox), for which he has received two Golden Globe awards and several Emmy nominations. Hugh is the most watched TV actor in the world, with ‘House MD’ reaching 81 million global viewers weekly. Now Hugh’s passion for the blues, and especially the music of New Orleans, has inspired him to begin his professional music career. ‘Let Them Talk’ is part 1 in his music journey. Hugh has brought together an A-list band of musicians to perform an album of greatest New Orleans blues tracks of the last 100 years. The heritage songs on the album were originally recorded by Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller, Robert Johnson, Ray Charles and Louis Armstrong, and the album features guest vocalists Dr. John, Irma Thomas and Sir Tom Jones. Produced by blues legend and Grammy award winner Joe Henry, the album was recorded in Los Angeles and New Orleans.
