After taking a hiatus from their continuous storm through Brisbane’s live venues, The Mercy Beat, one of Brisbanes strongest live performers, are back. The four piece band, have recorded enough tracks to release their full length album debut How To Shampoo A Yak.

The Mercy Beat have spent the past two years armed only with balls out rock and roll - and a steady flow of Coopers Pale Ale - beating their own path through Brisbane's live music scene. They’ve stolen the souls, and destroyed the eardrums of punters across Brisbane, playing with Gyroscope, Birds of Tokyo, Giants of Science, HITS, SixFtHick, The New Christs, Vegas Kings and Spitfireliar, as well as countless other local acts.
