Drawing influences from Bob Dylan to Joan as Policewoman, and Neil Young to the Smiths, mushu was formed in Sydney, Australia and are now releasing their second EP. Produced by Luke Bertoz and mixed by Wayne Connolly (Josh Pyke, You am I), "MUSHU EP" is a warm record where distortion is used sparingly, reverb is generous, synths come out to play, rich harmonies are affluent and hints of discordance bite you to keep you on your feet. With an EP launch coming up, an acoustic tour of America and Canada, an LP in pre-production, and plenty of shows to follow, 2010 is an important year for mushu, stay tuned!
