This heart warming 6 part musical drama follows the struggles of a small town choir, a family and their community. Choirmaster Michael is happy leading his local chorus with his wife, Esther, but the arrival of the beautiful and talented soprano Layla unexpectedly leads Michael astray. When Michael leaves Esther for Layla, she loses her husband and hobby in one painful blow. Along with Esther's teenage son, they form an alternative,surprise entry to the Glossop Musicfest.
