Over the course of his 20+ year career, Alan Dargin established himself as an undisputed master of the didjeridu. When he died tragically in 2008 at the age of 39, the loss was felt in musical circles around the globe. In commemoration of Dargin’s life and career, Compass Records have assembled this deluxe version of his classic album Bloodwood:The Art of the Didjeridu – Alan’s first solo recording and the album which established him as an important new voice on the world stage. This edition includes never before released bonus tracks, extra photographs and liner notes written by his long time musical collaborator Michael Atherton.
