Wild Marmalade are Australia's favourite didgeridoo and drum band. Traveling the world from their base in Byron Bay, their sound is a meeting of Si Mullumby’s rhythmic didg combined with the explosive grooves of Matt Goodwin on kit and log drums. They use organic instruments to create totally high-energy dance music.

Wild Marmalade blend the traditional sounds of the didjeridoo with the drive of modern techno rhythms, to create a fresh innovative, musical intensity usually only heard from computers and synthesizers.

Drawing on rhythms from all over the world and inspired by both ancient indigenous sounds and the grooves of the present, Wild Marmalade's music uplifts with their display of powerful, joyous and infectiously danceable music.

Their new CD "Core Duo" is the culmination of six-years constant touring. It captures the live energy of Wild Marmalade, but with high quality studio production. The 15 track CD includes 2 tracks with the exhilarating flamenco guitar of Paul (Tijuana Cartel) George. Other pieces feature Si’s distinctive rhythmic breathing style, applied to the overtone flute, and the CD opens with a traditional welcome from Lewis Bundjalung Walker. It’s a modern, distinctively Australian sound that has thrilled crowds around the world.
