John Mayer ‘Where The Light Is’ captures the multi-Grammy Award winning, platinum selling singer and songwriter in the element where fans love him most: live on stage. The special concert includes three sets: an acoustic performance, a rare set with John Mayer Trio (John Mayer, Steve Jordan and Pino Palladino), as well as a set featuring Mayer’s full band, all recorded during the night of December 8, 2007 at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. This will be the first new release since Continuum and incorporates each of the elements that the five-time Grammy-winner is known for – acoustic songwriter, electric guitar singer, bluesman and vocalist.

The 22-song 2 CD features a one of a kind song list made up of three distinct performances. Highlights include many of Mayer’s biggest hits (“Waiting On The World To Change’, ‘Daughters’, and ‘Why Georgia’), new interpretations of cover songs (“Free Fallen”, “Bold As Love”, and “I Don’t Need No Doctor”) and a previously unreleased Mayer gem (“In Your Atmosphere”).
