2007 sees the official launch of FloorPlay, a totally new show from Burn the Floor. After workshop performances in Australia, China, London and New Zealand in 2005 and 2006, Burn the Floor’s FloorPlay sets out on a ten month world tour, starting in Australia in February. FloorPlay is a totally new presentation, with the music, costumes and choreography all wrapped up in a supercharged two hours. The show is devoid of the traditional frills, and as the dancers fling, flaunt and revel, they demand that audiences leave all perceptions of Ballroom Dancing at the front door.
