Velvet Revolver is comprised of rock royalty – Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots), Slash & Duff McKagan (Guns N Roses), Matt Sorum (Guns N Roses, The Cult) & Dave Kushner (Wasted Youth, Electric Love Hogs) – individually their accomplishments speak for themselves. But as Velvet Revolver, they have forged an entirely new path as a band.

In 2004, their debut album ‘Contraband’ debuted at #1 on US Billboard albums chart and sold over 3 million albums worldwide, and in Australia this debuted at #2 on ARIA albums chart achieving Gold sales. The band won a Grammy for the lead track ‘Slither’.

Libertad is a bold move forward from their blistering debut album. While keeping their feet solidly on the foundation of searing hard rock, this album broadens the bands sound to new levels of creativity. The first single ‘She Builds Quick Machines’ sets the tone with its menacing aggression. On ‘Libertad’ that song is just the tip of the iceberg.
