It's been a while in between releases for Sydney's Euphonic. Now a 4-piece, the band return with the first of three new singles. 2007 brings a newly refreshed Euphonic coming out with all tunes blazing. Joining brothers Paul [vocals/guitars] and Bret Carpenter [drums] is guitarist Nik Philpott and bass player Tara Doyle [ex-Fyreflyes]. With the new 4-piece lineup in place, there's now that "something" extra, that offers up more than the rock scene's ordinary plodding & pounding of 2007 so far. The first single is a double a-side that features the punky 'Sleeper' and 'Life On A Chain'; a vitriolic stab at hyped bands in the music industry, grunged up guitars, wailing saxophone and trumpets, Paul Carpenter's unmistakable voice and his "a-punch-to-the-ribs" lyrics.
