Dr Octopus are a 7 piece ska band from the Gold Coastwho have supported such international acts as Reel Big Fish, Lagwagon,Pilot to Gunner and Snuff, as well as Australian bands such as The Porkers,Area 7, The Louiseville Sluggers, Zed, Day of Contempt and Antiskeptic.In March 2003, Dr Octopus played at the world’s largest ska music festival,“Ska Summit” held in Las Vegas, USA. Preview shows in Melbourne February25-27 and Sydney ‘Ska versus Rockabilly’ on Feb 28. The band will tournationally in April to play launch shows from Brisbane to Melbourne.
