SUTEKH (aka SETH HORVITZ) is internationally renowned for his blazingly original techhouse and left of centre electronics, with releases on labels including SOUL JAZZ, FORCE INC/MILLE PLATEAUX, and his own CONTEXT FREE MEDIA label, among others. ‘Born Again’ is a near definitive compilation of his remixes of other artists work since 1999. The album comprises 23 remixes of tracks by a diverse range of artists, including MURCOF, AMMONCONTACT, SWAYZAK, PORTABLE, SAFETY SCISSORS, GEOFF WHITE and HANNE HUKKELBERG, (a mix of ‘Ease’ exclusive to this release). The double CD comprises one disc of more recent remixes (which work brilliantly as a listening album in their own right) and a second bonus disc of broadly techno mixes dating back to 1999.
