Sensuous, melodic, often cheeky and always strong, the four women of KAYA create a compelling new style of vocal music, drawing on such influences as jazz, soul, blues, African, pop, folk and contemporary sound-scape. KAYA was a finalist on a certain TV show, with their refusal to succumb to conventionality securing them fans everywhere.
