The disc also includes two dazzling arias from Mendelssohn's oratorio Elijah conducted by Christopher Hogwood and released here for the first time. The disc follows the recent release of the biography by Martin Buzacott. Many of the tracks are previously unreleased recordings of David's early performances with Opera Australia.
