SMiLE is often referred to as the most famous unfinished and unreleased album in pop music history. After starting work on it 37 years ago, Brian Wilson finally completed and performed SMiLE for the first time in 2004. Nobody ever thought SMiLE, originally conceived for the Beach Boys, would ever see the light of day following Brian's well documented drug problems, breakdowns and the tragic losses of his two brothers.

However, in 2004, SMiLE not only saw its world premiére in London (featuring the ten-member band that has supported Brian on tour over the past years plus The Stockholm Strings and Horns) but led to a hugely successful tour as well as a Grammy award for “Best Rock Instrumental Performance” for “Mrs O'Leary's Cow”.

The 2-DVD set contains over 4 hours of material including a live SMiLE concert filmed in Los Angeles in 2004, the TV documentary 'Beautiful Dreamer', and a wealth of bonus footage including extended interviews, additional performances, the recording of SMiLE and photo galleries and a score only feature.
