From Under the Cork Tree is the second full length album by Fall Out Boy, and their major label debut on Island Records, released on May 3, 2005 (see 2005 in music). The title is taken from a line in the book The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf.

The album cover features a van with a trailer in a bank of snow. This is a reference to their accident that took place while on the way to New York to film the video for "Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy" from their album Take This To Your Grave.

The first single was "Sugar, We're Goin' Down," and the follow-up was "Dance, Dance," both of which became high-charting hits, although "Dance, Dance" was more successful. The third single is "A Little Less Sixteen Candles, a Little More "Touch Me"".
