The Walking Dead - Why you should hang on until Season 10

With its tenth season near completion, fans of ‘The Walking Dead’ have been on a rollercoaster for all ten seasons. The show has not disappointed, with fans tuning in week-after-week to see how our favorite group of survivors are doing. But many people still have yet to tune in to the show, either waiting for it to finish up (which seems very unlikely) so they can binge it, or looking for a good entry point into the show. Well for those fans who are still undecided, I am here to help you make that decision. Here is why I think you should hold off watching ‘The Walking Dead’ until Season 10’s release on Blu-Ray and DVD.
Reason #1
The current cast of characters – the show has gone through many different groups of characters. Without getting into any spoilers the show has seen many characters come and go. With this roster continuing to change over the years, it has been hard to get too attached to some of the characters, because you are afraid that they will not see the end of the season. However, the group of characters we have no here in Season 10 is strong and hopefully, will be around for at least a few more seasons. With the show at the height, it is now with its characters, it is the perfect time for someone who has not seen the show to jump in.
Reason #2
The drama of the story – the show has taken many different twists and turns over its ten-season run, however, in recent years with an increased budget and great characters, the drama, and story feel heightened, which makes its last few seasons some of the shows best. With the culmination of the story up until this point, it is now the best time to jump into the show.
Reason #3
The zombies themselves – with the development of CGI technologies and the improvement of practical effects. The zombies themselves have never looked better. The zombies have never been the central focus of the show, however, yes the events of the show are bought upon by the zombie outbreak, however, the real stars of the show are the characters. However, the looming threat of ‘The Walking Dead’ adds tension to the show, and with that, you need to have scary-looking zombies, and the show delivers this in spades, with the BEST, yes the best, zombies looking zombies ever put to screen. They will make you think twice about turning your light off before bed.
Whether you love it or you hate it, there is no denying the impact that ‘The Walking Dead’ has had on television and pop culture in general and there is no better time than now to jump into the show. Season 10 is due for release on physical media (Blu-Ray and DVD) later in 2021.
